Smart Breeding - An assay for pregnancy probability

BreedSENSE is a JV between Oracow Inc and Biolink Group. It is a Norwegian based company with a branch in New York Upperstate in USA. Head office is located on the west coast of Norway close the international airport of Stavanger.

Breedsense will utilize the research and technology from Biolink Group, and the experience and knowledge from Oracow in a unique combination to develop a novel assay for pregnancy probablity in cattle.

BreedSENSE has developed a pilot system ready for testing. The first test kits have been implemented at selected international farms for evaluation. The results from the test phase will be used to set up a study to measure the efficiency of the system.

identifies pregnancy probability early in estrus.
identifies which recipients are eligible for embryo transfer
identifies response to changes in estrogen

What is the DaisySTICK system?

The DaisySTICK system is based on testing probes, a reader, and a smart device running the DaisySTICK app.

Results are stored on the smart device and will be transferred to the central database once within reach of a Wi-Fi network.

Advanced algorithms are used to predict the results from the test.
